This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:
To assess the safety and effectiveness H2-receptor antagonists in the treatment of urticaria.
To examine the hypothesis that H2RAs when used in the treatment of urticaria suppress disease activity, hasten recovery, and improve the quality of life of people with urticaria.
To determine the appropriate dosage regimes of H2RAs for different types of urticaria.
