This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:
Primary objective
To quantify the dose-related effects of various doses and types of selective adrenergic agonist oral decongestants on systolic and diastolic blood pressure.
Secondary objectives- To determine the effects of adrenergic agonist oral decongestants on variability of blood pressure.
- To determine the effects of adrenergic agonist oral decongestants on pulse pressure.
- To quantify the dose-related effects of adrenergic agonist oral decongestants on heart rate.
- To quantify the effects of different doses of adrenergic agonist oral decongestants on withdrawals due to adverse events.
