The objective of this review is to systematically review the evidence from randomised controlled trials of the effect of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) on the recovery of Bell's palsy patients with moderate to severe facial palsy (House-Brackmann grades III to VI) (House 1985) (Table 1).
