This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:

Our objective is to conduct a systematic review, and where possible, a quantitative meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials to assess the efficacy and safety of plasmakinetic resection of the prostate (PKRP) compared to TURP for treating men with symptomatic BPH.
