This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:
The objective of this review was to define the complications, morbidity and oncological outcome in patients with localized invasive bladder cancer or recurrent high grade superficial bladder cancer who underwent either open radical cystectomy and urinary diversion or laparoscopic radical cystectomy and urinary diversion.
