This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:
To assess the effectiveness of EVAR versus conventional surgery for fit patients, and versus best medical care for unfit patients, with abdominal aortic aneurysm. This will be determined by the effect on short-term mortality, major complication rates, aneurysm exclusion and late complications.
